set of four oxidation fired porcelain plates with gloss glaze and inlaid slip design. 8.5” across x 1” tall. these plates were used in service once for the yuletide SAVOR meal. the plates are microwave and dishwasher safe. the pieces are handmade, and as such, there may be very slight variations in size and form

The designs are referential to the Yup'ik ivory objects I was fortunate enough to work with while at The Museum of the North. Each piece is carved with a unique design, just as the ivory objects are. I strive to achieve the perfect blending of “art” and “artifact” in my ceramic work.
