Thesis Countdown 2...
Two weeks left until the thesis dinner! Feeling the heat, literally! I fired the soda kiln again, this time with my intermediate ceramics class. By the time we were done firing, I think I wound up with a few soda kiln converts.
Loaded and ready to go!
The kiln was loaded, doored up, and a fire already started in the firebox when we had a 5 point earthquake at 8:30 in the morning..hopefully nothing was shaken too much! We'll find out Saturday when we unload. Also, not to brag..but I have some awesome students who made us delicious breakfast muffins. Feeling the love!
Woo! Reduction! That was not an issue at all during this firing.
